Maple Glazed Apple Fritter Bites
Ingredients
- 1 cup all‑purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup diced apples (firm, peeled)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon butter, for frying
Directions
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and maple syrup.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients; stir until just combined.
- Fold in diced apples.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto skillet, cooking 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
- Remove fritters, drain on paper towels, and serve warm.
