Garlic Butter Steak and Corn Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups frozen or canned corn (drained)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Directions

  1. Season steak cubes generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak in batches until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add corn to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes until heated through.
  5. Return steak to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter and corn mixture. Cook for 1 minute.
  6. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
