Brown Butter Pecan Snack Squares
Ingredients
- 1 cup all‑purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, oats, pecans, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk brown sugar, melted butter, molasses, honey, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry mixtures until just mixed.
- Press dough into a greased 8×8‑inch pan.
- Bake 20–25 minutes or until golden.
- Cool, cut into squares, and serve.
