Mini Caprese Pesto Sliders
Ingredients:
- 12 mini slider buns
- 12 fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved
- 12 cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
- 12 basil leaves
- 12 tbsp pesto sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: balsamic glaze for drizzling
Directions:
- Preheat the grill or skillet to medium heat.
- Brush the slider buns lightly with olive oil and toast until golden.
- Slice the mozzarella halves into thin rounds; season with salt and pepper.
- Spread 1 tsp pesto on the bottom half of each bun.
- Layer a mozzarella slice, a cherry tomato half, and a basil leaf.
- Drizzle a little pesto over the tomato and basil.
- Top with the bun’s top half.
- Serve immediately, optionally drizzle with balsamic glaze.
